Back in the spring, E.K.M. was interviewed by host T. Hetzel for the Living Writers Show, on radio station WCBN in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a long, cheerful interview and includes discussion of libraries, inspirations for writing, and a short reading by Edward from The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat. Here is the webpage where you can find the interview. There is no description -- you want the episode labeled 2013-04-24. It is set up to work best with the iTunes player, but you can listen to the interview directly from the page: scroll your cursor down the list of episodes and hover over Living Writers 2013-04-24, a small, blue "play" arrow should appear on the left. Be aware -- the interview lasts for an hour and if you use the preview player (rather than listening via iTunes) you can't stop/pause or you'll have to start all over again from the beginning. The show includes a minute or two of promos for the radio station before the interview begins. WCBN is the University of Michigan student-run, community, freeform radio station in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Recently E.K.M. was interviewed about his debut novel, The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat, on the Cover to Cover show by radio host Mark Dewitt. Based in Cincinnatti, Cover to Cover features interviews with local and national authors. The program is available as a downloadable podcast, or you can listen online. Click here to reach the Cover to Cover page. The interview lasts about 25 minutes. |
